SYNOPSIS:

Recently widowed undercover detective, Sophie Howell, begs her boss to let her get back on the job. Against her teen step-daughter Chloe’s wishes -- and maybe not so sure herself she’s ready for active duty -- Sophie takes a supposedly safe undercover assignment looking into the digital currency transactions of an upstart tech company. Happy to be back working, Sophie soon learns Chloe is in need of a lifesaving operation. Desperately trying to balance home and work, Sophie discovers that there is more going on at the tech company than just trading digital currency. Days after Sophie goes undercover, one of the tech bosses is murdered, which is soon followed by mysterious threats against both her and Chloe. With her cover blown, Sophie’s boss wants her off of the job. But before she can be removed from harm’s way, Sophie must choose between her own life and saving her step-daughter's.
